We'll be cooking up a storm in the Tariq Halal Cookery Theatre

This year’s London Muslim Lifestyle Show sees the return of two TV-star chefs hosting the Tariq Halal Cookery Theatre at London Muslim Lifestyle Show.

There’s nothing more sure to get your taste buds tingling than the aroma of fresh food being created before your eyes. And this year’s London Muslim Lifestyle Show has a whole host of live cookery demonstrations hosted by Tariq Halal Meats – the premium suppliers of halal meat in London - creating a show that no foodie would want to miss.

On Saturday 15th, we are delighted to have former ‘Master Chef’ winner Shelina Permaloo in the Live Cookery Theatre following her mammoth success at the London Muslim Lifestyle Show in 2016. Since her win in 2012, Shelina has quickly earned herself a superlative reputation as someone who embraces world cuisine with her own ‘Shelina twist’. Innovative and with a sparkling personality, Shelina’s ability to inspire her audiences has made her a popular favourite at shows and foodie festivals and means she is in constant demand.

Sunday 16th sees former ‘The Great British Bake Off’ contestant Ali Imdad in the Live Cookery Theatre, turning the air sweeter with his superior baking skills. Since appearing on the hit show in 2013, Ali has refused to rest on his baking laurels and his hard work ethic has seen him open his very own fine patisserie in Birmingham named ‘Cocoa by Ali’ as well as running the ‘Artisan’ dessert parlour. Known for his dedication to creating cakes and bakes that remain respectful to his cultural roots, demand for Ali’s demonstrations is bound to be high.

Guests can also register on the day for the ‘Halal Eat-Off’ competition or find out how to make superb ‘Healthy Halal Meals with Haloodies’. For those who like to take their cooking to the next level catch The Great British Halal Chef in action as well as the ‘AHDB guide to making the most of your meat’.

And don’t forget the children – the ‘Cooking For Your Children’ demonstration shows just how to satisfy even the fussiest of young eaters and all within the constraints of a busy family life.

The London Muslim Lifestyle Show 2017 takes place on 15th-16th April at Olympia London, Hammersmith Rd, London W14 8UX.
